I like stretching before sleep; gradual skin exposure is my lullaby.
You know those things that just really tick your nerves to midnight and the bird cuckoos too loudly? I don’t like those things. I’m trying to write for NanoWrimo, failing miserably. My schoolwork and surly fatigue has been dominating my days and there isn’t a sufficient way of combating but sleep. I am becoming a part time student next week so my friend Houston and I can write together. Maybe our solitude can mash together and create an epic, who knows.
Mr. Overton wrote down the website to the National MS Society and said he would do some leisure research for general knowledge. He takes me seriously and consistently beckons me as Ms. Knight. We are delving into Early Christian Art, just finished Rome. My favorite piece of Roman Art is definitely Hadrian’s grotto. It’s a compilation of Classical Greece with a touch of Etruscan and Egyptian elements. I have to write an essay on Roman architects and how the material they used benefited their creation of masterpieces. I want to become a spiral frieze, winding effortlessly around a column that is the second foundation to a temple, inviting the Gods to rest.
Sleep is poking it’s eyes from under my pillow. Goodnight.
Say Anything: Do Better

I bought gummy bears and sour patch today for the Drama-inspired-funds and without thinking I got up from my seat, gave Tre the gummy bears and he just looked at me. Tre is a special boy. He’s going to write the next great American children’s book. He doesn’t have many friends and the surrounding girls stopped their conversation as he said thank you. We shared a stare and a smile then I went back to my seat.
I start treatment on Monday.
Meet Charla. My best friend. Two years strong. I couldn’t make it through all of this without you. Curiouser and Curiouser.
